A Message from the President – February 2018

February 15, 2018

Dear Brothers in Christ,

Greetings in the name of our crucified and risen Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. As you begin the Lenten pilgrimage season and your journey to Easter, I pray God’s richest blessings as you prepare yourself and your congregation for that glorious day of our Lord’s resurrection. May the peace of God be with you every step of your journey.

Typically, in my monthly Here We Stand update letter, I cover several topics attempting to keep you fully informed about the campaign’s activity and progress. This February letter will differ in this regard; it will have a singular focus.

This month, I would like to identify and publicly thank the 113 congregations of the Michigan District that have already (through February 1) made a gift and/or long-term written commitment toward the success of Here We Stand.

What follows is a complete listing of those congregations. The list does not include the many congregations that have verbally stated their future intent to participate.

On behalf of our Board of Directors, staff, and the many that have been blessed so mightily through the faithful generosity of these congregations, please accept our sincerest gratitude for being a blessing to the mission and ministries of your Michigan District.
